Videos in dvd (mpeg2) from several digi-cams

I have found out one important thing.

If You have got a video from a videoCam in dvd-format (MPEG2)
which is tagged (in every FRAME!) as 4:3 , BUT in fact you see that the picture is 16:9 , you can easily repair this in one minute without the need of re-encoding it and loosing quality !

Use DVDPatcher 1.06
It enables You to change this information (aspect ratio) from 4:3 to 16:9. Choose the option: "in entire file".
After this repair it will correctly be displayed and also correctly encoded with the VideoRa iPod convertor into MP4 - very suitable format for upload video on NING.

Sure.
It is normal Win32 programm. Should be compatible with Windows: NT, 2000, XP, Vista, and I think it will run also on Win98 / ME / 95.
It is so simple software that it must run on every windows version.

... good to know that. Do know something about Mac - we have some members here on Overtone Music Network who use Mac - but I am not familiar with Mac - it is to expensive.
